General dumping ground for my odds 'n' sods

After a 3 year course, now qualified as an Officer of the Watch.
(Put simply, I'm allowed to be in charge of a deck watch for periods of 8 to 12 hours a day on a ship) 

With interests in the shipping industry and anything electronic and "computery."

Oh, and for the purposes of a Google search for my name; I'm not a Waltham Abbey builder.

Factoids: (more to be added over time)

  • I was able to tell the time using Red Jets at Warsash. Each time they passed, it was either on the hour, or half past the hour. Good huh?
